Two boys arrested after attempted knifepoint robbery in Leicester
Both have been released on bail after the incident at Beaumont Leys Park
Two boys aged 12 and 16 have been arrested after the attempted knifepoint robbery of another teenager in Leicester.
It happened at around 5pm on Tuesday night (July 18) in Beaumont Leys Park.
The victim was approached by four young people who tried to rob him by searching his pockets.
One of the suspects pulled out a knife when he resisted.
Two young people who were detained on Wednesday morning have been released on bail pending further investigation.
Leicestershire Police are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
