Two arrested after drugs found at a Nottingham property
The discovery was made at a house on Wollaton Road.
Two men have been arrested after several large bags of cannabis and a large quantity of cash were discovered inside the house in Wollaton Road.
The males, aged 27 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and possession of criminal property.
Both suspects have been released under investigation.
Sergeant Tracey Perkins, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Our officers were able to uncover a quantity of class B drugs while searching a house in the Wollaton area.
“We were carrying out this warrant after receiving intelligence that drug activity could be taking place, with this discovery allowing us to remove a quantity of drugs from our streets and out of circulation.
“Tackling drug-related activity is a key priority for us on the city west team, which is why we work so hard to respond to all reports of this nature that we receive.
“Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident, so we’d ask anyone that has any information that could assist us with our investigation to get in touch with us by calling 101, quoting incident 108 of 26 April 2022.”
