Three men taken to hospital after reported assault in Derby

Police are appealing for witnesses

Derbyshire Police are appealing for information after reports of an assault in the city centre, that left three men needed treatment in hospital.

The victims have reported being approached by a larger group at around 1 am on Sunday (09/03) as they walked down Willow Row in Derby, before allegedly being assaulted.

Police say whilst the three men required hospital treatment for injuries, they're not in a life-threatening condition.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Officers say they have no further description of the group of men at this time.
