Teenage girl punched in the head in an unprovoked attack outside takeaway in Nottingham

She was left with minor injuries.

Police are appealing for information, after a teenage girl was punched in the head outside a takeaway in Nottingham.

Officers were called to Long Row in the city centre on Sunday, September 25, at around 1.46am.

A 19 year old girl was punched in the head by an unknown man and left with minor injuries.

PC Shane Adams, who is investigating the incieent, said:

“This was an unprovoked attack in the city centre where the female was hit in the head by a male not known to her. It has left the victim shaken.

“This behaviour is not acceptable and we are working at finding the person responsible. We have released an image of a man which could help us with our inquiries.

“If you know the man in the picture please get in touch or if you are the person in the picture then please also give us a call.”
