Police presence after 'suspected chemical substances' found in Leicester

Emergency services remain at the address as enquiries continue

Police are currently at an address on Glazebrook Road, Leicester, following a number of 'suspected chemical substances' being found in an outbuilding at the property.

Officers attended the address as part of enquiries following the arrest of a 35-year-old man, of Leicester, who was arrested earlier yesterday (Friday) on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

A cordon has been placed in the area to allow emergency services to carry out full enquiries into the substances found.

No neighbouring properties have been evacuated in the area at this time and emergency services remain in the area. No injuries have been reported.
