Man treated in hospital after reported attack in Nottingham
It's thought the incident on Friday night (8th October) involved knives
Nottinghamshire Police are investigating an incident in Nottingham on Friday night, that saw a man needing hospital treatment.
Officers say they received reports a man had been attacked with knives around 11.45pm on Friday (8th October).
Police who attended the incident in Manston Mews, Radford, searched the area and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
They also recovered a quantity of suspected class A drugs nearby and further arrested him on suspicion of possessing a class A substance.
Detective Constable Ben Grayson, from Nottinghamshire Police said: “The quick action of officers meant that a man was brought into custody and was able to be questioned.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are working hard to understand the circumstances around the incident. However, we would reassure people that those thought to be involved are believed to be known to each other and this is an isolated incident.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to get in touch on 101, quoting incident 1008 of 8 October 2021.”
