Police cordon in place after Derby assault
A man's been taken to hospital after being found injured
Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses, after a man was found injured in Derby city center.
The man was found around 06.15 this morning (28/10) on St Peter's Street, with emergency services called to reports of an assault.
We're told he's been taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains.
Derbyshire Police are still on the scene, with a cordon in place whilst detectives examine the area.
Anyone with information about the assault's being asked to contact police using incident number 158 of 28th October.
