Police cordon after reports of sexual assault in Derby
There's an appeal for people who were in the area at the time to contact police
An investigation's been launched by Derbyshire Police into reports of a sexual assault in a park.
This morning (07/03) there's a cordon in place in the Bass Recreation Ground, after the alleged incident last night.
There's a large scene around the ground as investigations continue, and Derbyshire Police are telling people to expect an increase police presence.
Anyone who was near the Recreation Ground or the Derby bus station last night (06/03) between 7 pm and 9 pm is being encouraged to contact police.
