'Plot' to kidnap a child the week before Madeleine McCann disappeared
British expat Ken Ralphs claims a plot to kidnap a child was being hatched in Praia da Luz a week before Leicestershire girl Madeleine McCann went missing in 2007.
Ken has told us that his friend confided in him about a plan, which allegedly involved selling a young person to a German couple.
Mr Ralphs has been in regular touch with the authorities - but was told his friend didn't know him.
He believes the chief suspect - Christian B - was behind the kidnap plot. However he hasn't been charged and denies any involvement in Madeleine's disappearance.
