Pedestrian hit near Nottingham's QMC

A man in his 70s is being treated in hospital for serious injuries

Emergency services were called to Derby Road, near to the entrance of the Queen’s Medical Centre, at 7.32pm on Tuesday.

The road was partially closed while investigation work was carried out

Chief Inspector Paul Hennessy, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers will remain at the scene of this collision as we work to understand exactly what happened.

"To this end we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed these events – particularly anyone who may have recorded dashcam or other video footage at the scene.”
