Nottinghamshire Police launch CCTV appeal after group of young people verbally abused

A group of young people were verbally abused in a McDonald's restaurant last month - and police say the woman pictured might be able to help with investigations

Nottinghamshire Police have released CCTV pictures of someone they would like to speak to in connection with an incident last month.

The force are looking into a public order incident after a group of young people were verbally abused in McDonald's in West Gate, Mansfield.

They say the incident happened at about 1.30pm on Tuesday, January 17.

PC Louise Martin, of the Mansfield town centre policing team, said: “This was an upsetting incident for everyone involved and we are eager to catch up with the person responsible.

“We believe the woman pictured in this image may be able to help with our investigation and we would like to speak to her as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 324 of 17 January 2023.
