A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Measham on Wednesday evening (1 December).
Ben Dunlop, of Hart Drive, Measham, has been charged with the murder of 75-year-old Ronald Dunlop. He will be appearing at Leicester Magistrates’ Court this morning (Saturday 4 December).
Dunlop has also been charged with one count of criminal damage in relation to the death of a cat, also on 1 December.
The body of Ronald Dunlop was found on the evening of Wednesday 1 December following a call from the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
