Man charged in Leicester murder investigation

A 47-year-old man has been charged with murder, in connection with the death of a woman in Leicester.

Sindeep Singh, of no fixed address, has been charged following the death of 76-year-old Bhajan Kaur.

Officers were called to a property in Bolsover Street, Leicester, just after 8.05pm on Monday after Bhajan was found dead inside the address.

Singh has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court tomorrow
