Man charged following Braunstone Town incident

It follows a report of a firearm being discharged in a car park on Tuesday

A man has been charged following an incident in Braunstone Town earlier this week.

Hari Mann, 25, has been charged with two counts of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and two counts of modifying an imitation firearm.

He has also been charged with one count of impersonating a police officer and one count of assault of an emergency worker.

Mann has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday 8th June).

The charges relate to a report of a firearm being discharged in a car park in The Glade on Tuesday morning (4th June).
