A man has been charged after a 14 year old girl was killed in a crash in Leicester earlier this week.

Police were called to the junction of Braunstone Lane and Mortimer Way on Wednesday (October 26) to reports a car had left the road and hit two teenagers.

A second 14 year old girl was also hurt, but her injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Aaron Carter, of Aikman Avenue in Leicester, has been charged with one count of causing death by dangerous driving.

He'll appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (October 28).
