Man arrested on suspicion of encouraging acts of terrorism in Leicester

A man's been arrested in Leicester on suspicion of terrorism offences.
Officers from Leicestershire Police carried out a pre-planned warrant early yesterday (Tuesday 9th July).
They carried it out on Cecil Road in the city.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of counter-terrorism offences, including encouraging acts of terrorism.
The man remains in police custody for questioning.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
