Police in Derby are investigating a sexual offence on a single-decker X38 bus and have released an image of a man they wish to speak to.

The incident reportedly occurred on the Derby to Burton bus route at around 6pm on 29th October 2025.

It has been reported that a man, who was a passenger on the bus, was seen touching himself inappropriately.

He boarded the bus outside Turtle Bay, located in Derby's Wardwick area, before the alleged offence took place.

Derbyshire police are asking the public for help in identifying the man in the image they released. They believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries into the incident.

Anyone who recognises the man, or has any relevant information, is asked to contact Derbyshire Constabulary.
