Hundreds of flood alerts and flood warnings are in place across the East Midlands following the downpours from Storm Henk.

**Leicestershire**

Leicestershire fire and rescue service say they've responded to at least 97 flood related call outs.

**Nottinghamshire**

Newark MP Robert Jenrick posted on X to say: "With waters continuing to rise, it seems likely that flooding around Newark and the Trent villages will be the worst experienced since 2000."

We're being warned not to travel to Colwick park, as large parts of it are under deep water.

Attenborough nature reserve is also urging visitors to keep away.

No trams are running between Wilford lane and Southchurch drive due to standing water on the line.

More than 30 roads across the County are closed, including one of the major routes into the city over Gunthorpe bridge and several roads in Bestwood.

You can find a list of them here.

A popular football pitch in Nottingham has been submerged in flood water. Powerleague posted on Facebook to say it is currently closed, with all bookings for last night and today cancelled.

**Derbyshire**

Eight flood warnings are in place along the river Trent in the South of the County.

The Environment Agency expect that the Trent will peak in Shardlow this afternoon, so take care if you are in the area.

The County Council say there are still a few road closures in place.

They're urging people to take care if walking next to rivers and are urging people not to let their children or pets play in flood water.
