Elderly man requires hand surgery after dog bite in Bilborough

An 82 year-old man's had surgery on his hand after being bitten by a dog in Bilborough.
The attack occurred as he was walking his own dog on Kinross Crescent at around 9:20am on Monday (9 October).
Nottinghamshire Police say he was bitten by a medium-sized brown dog that fled the scene with its owner shortly afterwards.
They're appealing for anyone who saw what happened to come forward by calling 101 quoting incident 163 of 9 October 2023, or by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
