Crowd trouble causes a stop to Crewe Alexandra and Notts County match

A stoppage time penalty caused a lot of disturbance at the football match of Crewe Alexandra and Notts County.
The game looked to be ending goalless, but Crewe were awarded a penalty after Notts County's Jodi Jones handled Ryan Cooney's volley.
Courtney Baker-Richardson took the penalty and scored in the 98th minute of stoppage time.
After the goal the Notts County fans continued to be furious and encroached onto the pitch.
It caused the game to be paused for ten minutes.
Eventually the linesmen had to switch touchlines due to the crowd disruption.
The game eventually restarted with Crewe holding onto the one nil win.
In a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, Notts County put out a statement.
They said they'll be "working closely alongside Crewe Alexandra and the relevant authorities to assist with investigations."
