Bus service changes across Nottingham launch today
Nottingham City Transport say they’re making the changes after listening to feedback from customers and drivers

If you take the bus in Nottingham, be aware as permanent changes to a number of services are now in force from today (September 3).
That includes extra stops on the city loop and revised timetables to reflect post pandemic demand.
Nottingham City Transport say they’re making the changes after listening to feedback from customers and drivers.
The key changes include:
- Extra stops on the Green Line "City Loop" and a closer stop to the new Broadmarsh Bus Station and Library
- Sky Blue 45 extended to serve the new Chase Farm in Gelding
- City centre reroute of the Orange 34 in the City Centre to serve the back of the Arena
- Navy, Green and Orange Lines - and Red 50 - seeing bus stop changes in the City Centre
- Red 44/A now terminating in the turning circle on Wollaton Avenue after being rerouted through Arnold Lane Shelford Road
- Revised timetables on our Navy 49 and Lime Line services
The services seeing changes from today
South Notts 1, Navy 3/3A, Navy 4/N4
At Broadmarsh, buses will use the previous stop, coded C2, on Canal Street.
Green 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
Stop changes in the City Centre to provide improved connections - inlcuding an extra stop on Parliament Street at the Elite
At Broadmarsh, buses leaving the City will stop closer at stand C3.
Lilac 24, 25
Mondays to Friday, Lilac 24 from City at 14:07 will now operate as a Lilac 25 through to Mapperley and Arnold.
There'll be an extra journey from Arnold at 14:59 to City.
Revised Sunday daytime timetable between Carlton Square and Arnold.
Pathfinder 26, 26A
Withdrawal of the 15:10 service from Carlton-le-Willows Academy.
Orange 34, 34C, N34
The term time service resumes on Sunday 17th September 2023 for the new academic year.
Revised route in the City Centre, with buses now serving the full length of Canal Street, Bellar Gate and Cranbrook Street.
At Broadmarsh, buses will use the next stop along, coded C4.
At Elite, buses will use E1.
Red 44, 44A
In Gedling, buses will now terminate in the turning circle on Wollaton Avenue.
Buses from Gedling will use Shelford Road and Arnold Lane to City.
New bus stops will be introduced on Shelford Road for buses towards City.
Sky Blue 45
Sky Blue 45 is extended to serve the new Chase Farm development at Gedling.
Buses will serve the full length of Shelford Road and terminate on Waldrom Road near Harviston Avenue.
New bus stops will be introduced on Shelford Road to replace the Wollaton Avenue stop.
Navy 49, 49A, 49B, 49X
Revised timetable on all days.
At Elite, buses will use the previous stop, coded E1.
Red 50
At Broadmarsh, buses will use the stop at the bottom of Maid Marian Way near the Arndale Car Park.
At Elite, buses will use the previous stop, coded E1.
Grey 53, 54
In Arnold Town Centre, buses towards Front Street will additionally serve the bus stop on Croft Road.
On Arnold Front Street, buses will move to the next stop along.
Lime 56, 57, 57X
Revised timetable on all days.
Lime 58
Revised timetable on all days.
An extra stop in Arnold Town Centre, with buses towards Killisick serving the bus stop on Croft Road.
Lime 59
Revised timetable on all days.
Turquoise 79, 79A
In Arnold Town Centre, buses towards Front Street will no longer stop on Croft Road.
On Arnold Front Street, Turquoise 79/A buses will use the second stop.
Purple 87
Minor timetable changes on buses from Arnold towards City.
On Arnold Front Street, buses will use the first stop.
Purple 88
Minor timetable changes.
Purple 89
Minor timetable changes on buses from Rise Park towards City.

Revised morning timetable, with all buses timed to arrive at the schools at the same time.
