Body found in search for missing Earl Shilton man
He had been reported missing earlier this week.
A body has been discovered in the search for Mark Parry, a 45-year-old man from Earl Shilton who had been reported missing earlier this week.
Mark was last seen on Wednesday 3rd December at his home in the Westfield Avenue area and was last in contact with a relative on the morning of Thursday 4th December.
The body was found at Thornton Reservoir on Saturday 6th December 2025. While formal identification has not yet been completed, it is believed to be Mark.
Mark’s family are being supported by officers during this difficult time and have requested privacy.
Police have said that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.
