Ben Bradley to step down as leader of Nottinghamshire County Council

He says it's been a 'pleasure and honour' to serve the county for 3 and a half years

Conservative politician Ben Bradley has taken to social media to announce he's stepping down as Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council in the coming weeks.

The 34 year old served as MP for Mansfield, Nottinghamshire from 2017 to 2024.

After what he's called 'a difficult year politically' he says now is the right time for him and his family to make a change.

Nottinghamshire County Council will elect a new Leader on December 5th.
