A third teenager is charged over fight with knives in Nottingham

Police were called last Wednesday lunchtime after a fight broke out between two groups armed with knives outside the Nottingham Contemporary art gallery.

No injuries were reported but an investigation was immediately launched to identify those involved.

A 17-year-old boy, who can’t be identified for legal reasons, has been charged with possession of a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 9 February 2024).

Meanwhile a 17-year-old girl, arrested on Wednesday (7 February 2024) on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on conditional bail while police continue with their inquiries.
