A man's been stabbed in the street in Leicester
Police had to close Narborough Road and Cambridge Street this afternoon
Police were called at 12.28pm today (Wednesday 19 June) to a report a man had been stabbed while in Cambridge Street.
The injured man has been taken to hospital and his injury is not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
A part of Narborough Road citybound and Cambridge Street was closed while officers dealt with the assault. Narborough Road has since reopened.
An investigation has been launched and police are appealing for witnesses.
