Teenager charged in connection with Annan playpark fire

A 13-year-old has been charged in connection with a fire at a playpark in Annan on 15 March 2025.

The blaze caused damage to the equipment at Weyroc Inclusive Park Park on Stanalane/Shawhill Road.

The young person will be reported through “the appropriate youth justice process”.

Annan officers will continue to carry out regular patrols to tackle this type of behaviour in the town.
