From 12 o'clock today, several Cairnryan to Northern Ireland ferry sailings are cancelled due to high winds from approaching Storm Amy.

If your sailing is affected, you're being advised not to travel.

Long delays are anticipated and passengers are being urged to find alternative travel options.

Check with Stena Line and P&O Ferries for updates.

Freight drivers should follow the port operators and Police Scotland's instructions while cancellations are in effect.
