Police Scotland is re-appealing for information which could help trace Dane McGill one week after he was reported missing.

The 53-year-old was last seen in the Dalswinton area around 12.30pm on Friday, 10 November, 2023.

Extensive police enquiries and searches have been carried out, but Dane currently remains missing.

He is described as white, around 5ft 9in tall, of slim build with short grey hair and a beard. He walks with a stick and is thought to be wearing a camouflage jacket and khaki-coloured trousers.

Chief Inspector Stephen Bell said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Dane’s welfare, and I know his family and friends are extremely worried.

“Our efforts to trace Dane are continuing, and we would ask anyone with information that could assist with our enquiries to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone in the area with private CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to please review it and contact us if you think you’ve captured anything relevant.

“If you have seen Dane, or have any information which could assist please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 2878 of 10 October, 2023.”
