Inquiries are ongoing to find a motorcyclist who was seen riding dangerously at the Cuckoo Bridge Retail Park.

Officers are urging people to come forward if they saw this person at around 10.15pm on Saturday, 15 March.

The rider of the purple electric motorcycle went past a Road Policing Unit at the Tesco Extra that same night with no lights or registration plates on its back wheel before disappearing into the Summerville Crescent area.

He has been described as male, slim build, wearing all black clothing: a short puffa jacket, hoodie with the hood up, joggers, trainers, gloves, and a black and white mask which is believed to be a skeleton design covering his face.

Anyone who has information that could help identify this person is being asked to contact Castle Douglas Road Policing on 101, quoting incident number 3916 of 15 March 2025.
