Police are on the hunt for a dangerous motorcyclist

One of the pair has already been caught and arrested.

Police are on the lookout for a dangerous driver who failed to stop for officers near Glenluce on the A75.

The incident happened close to the junction for Glenluce around 3.50pm on Friday, 9 August 2024.

Two motorcyclists – a blue-coloured Triumph and a black-coloured Harley Davidson – rode past police who attempted to stop them.

The vehicles sped off, however, the Triumph was found and seized at Cairnryan Ferry Terminal.

A 31-year-old man is to appear in court at a later date after being charged in connection with the incident.

The rider of the Harley Davidson is still to be tracked down, but enquiries are ongoing.

Police Constable Matthew Pool said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have information which could assist our investigation to come forward.

“Anyone with any information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 or via Contact Us on the website, quoting incident number 2210 of 9 August 2024.”
