Police investigate theft of £13,000 worth of cabling in Dumfries

An investigation is underway after cabling worth around £13,000 was stolen in Dumfries.

It happened in the Greystone Crescent area on Friday 26th May between 9pm and 10pm

Detective Constable Jim Kirkpatrick said: “Enquiries are continuing into this high-value theft and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything around this time to come forward.

“If you saw anything unusual or suspicious in the area, including any suspicious vehicles, please contact police immediately.

“We encourage any witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage which may assist in our enquiries to please get in touch.”
