Three men have been charged after almost £10,000 worth of drugs were found at a property in Dumfries.

Cocaine and heroin were seized on Nithbank Avenue around 2pm on Friday.

The men aged 35, 39, and 41 are due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court next month.

Detective Inspector Graeme Robertson, Dumfries and Galloway Division said: “This recovery highlights our commitment to disrupting drug-related crime in our communities and reinforces our ongoing commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.

“We will continue to target those individuals who cause misery to others through the sale of illegal drugs and work relentlessly using all resources at our disposal to ensure they are brought to justice.

“Information from the public is vital to our efforts, and I would encourage anyone concerned about drugs-related activity to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively, you can report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
