Police discover £70,000 worth of cannabis in vehicle stop and search
The car was travelling northbound on the A74, near Lockerbie
A man has been arrested and charged after police officers discovered £70,000 worth of cannabis in a car around 5pm yesterday.
Police stopped the white Audi A4 travelling northbound on the A74 near Lockerbie.
Following a search of the car, officers recovered approximately 7kg of cannabis.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.
He is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Friday, April 28.
