Police looking for dashcam footage on a two-vehicle crash near Moffat

Police are appealing for any witnesses or someone with dashcam footage capturing the two-vehicle on Friday afternoon near Moffat to come forward.

Around 4.30pm, a blue Seat Ibiza and a white Volkswagen Transporter collided on the A74(M) motorway southbound carriageway near Coatsgate, Moffat.

Emergency services attended and one woman was taken to hospital.

Lockerbie Roads Policing Unit are currently investigating the incident and is asking members of the public to contact Police Scotland quoting reference 2644 of the 8th of August if they can help.
