Man who died in Gretna crash is named
Sergeant Ramage says his thoughts are with the man’s family.
The 83-year-old man who died after a crash on the A75 at Gretna last Monday has been named as Jackson Pringle.
The incident involved a black Peugeot 3008 and a white Ford Transit van around 11.10 am.
Emergency services attended to the scene and took Mr Pringle and a 77-year-old man to the hospital with serious injuries.
Pringle passed away at the Royal Victoria Infirmary the next day.

As a precaution, three other men aged 77, 60 and 31 were also taken to hospital.
Sergeant Colin Ramage said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Pringle's family and friends at this very difficult time.
“Our enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to get in touch with us.
“In particular, if you were driving in the area at the time, please check your dash-cam footage to see if you captured anything that could assist our investigation.”
