Man robbed in Glenluce by youth

The suspect took a three-figure sum from the man before taking off.

Officers are looking for information to help aid their enquiries following a robbery in Glenluce.

The incident happened around 1pm Thursday, 6 March 2025 where a 38-year-old man had a three-figure sum stolen from him after being threatened by a male youth at Glenluce Skate Park on Main Street.

We’ve been told by police that the suspect is a teenager, with dark brown hair and stubble, and was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a jumper.

Constable Ross Bell of Stranraer Police Office said: "Extensive enquiries have been carried out since this was reported, however, we are now seeking the public's assistance as we continue to work to identify the person responsible.

"We would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information that could assist our investigation to contact us."
