Two drivers in hospital after buses in 'opposite direction' collide in Lockerbie

Two bus drivers have been left in hospital after their vehicles directly collided yesterday in Lockerbie.
At around 3:15pm on Tuesday 9 May, two buses were travelling in opposite directions on Alexandria Drive when they crashed into each other.
Both male drivers, aged 41 and 73-years-old were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal infirmary for their injuries after ambulances attended the scene.
However, the 73-year-old has since been transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
Constable Christopher Wightman at the Road Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or anyone who has captured the incident on CCTV or dash-cam.
