WOW Youth Musical Theatre take to the stage to celebrate 40 years
A run of four shows starts at Weymouth Pavilion tonight
Talented young performers are taking to the stage at Weymouth Pavilion tonight to celebrate a special landmark.
Youth Musical Theatre Group WOW are putting on the first of four shows to mark their 40th anniversary.
The Wow Show will include show-stopping numbers from a variety of musical theatre favourites, including We Will Rock You, 9 to 5 and Chicago.
Here at Greatest Hits Radio, we've been speaking to some of the performers.
Holly is 16 years old and is in quite a few of the numbers including her favourite - Chicago.
She told us what it's like performing with WOW: "It just feels like a really big family and it also builds your confidence a lot.
"When I first started with WOW I was really, really shy but now my confidence has built."
Patrick is also 16. He told us what it's like working with kids of a variety of ages: "You've got people on the older end, sort of 16-18 and also kids as young as ten.
"Working with the younger kids is quite nice as they have surprisingly a real sense of maturity about them.
"It's a very nice dynamic working with people with different ages as you get all sorts of different takes on what you're doing."
WOW's first show is kicking off this evening (17 November) at Weymouth Pavilion at 7pm.
A Matinee is also running on Saturday at 2pm, with the run closing that evening at 7pm.
