Bomb squad called to Purbeck Road after unexploded WWII shell found
Part of Furzebrook Road has been closed
Part of the Northbound carriageway of Furzebrooke at Stoborough in Purbeck has been closed following reports that a possible explosive device was found.
It is believed to be a shell dating from World War Two.
A Spokesperson from Dorset police said: .
"Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) experts have been contacted and a cordon has been put in place for the safety of members of the public.
