Woman threatened with knife by teenagers in Blandford

A woman's been threatened with a knife during an assault in Blandford.

The victim, who's in her 30s, and her partner were walking past a group of four male teenagers on Wimborne Road, near the junction with Langton Road and East Street.

One of the boys assaulted her and produced a small knife, before they left the scene.

Police have just released details of the incident that happened around 2.00pm on Friday 23rd December - but are continuing their investigations.

The offenders are all described as being aged around 17 years old.

One was wearing a black and white tracksuit and a black woolly hat, with another wearing a blue jacket and jeans.

PC James Owen, of Dorset Police, said:

“We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I would ask anyone who saw what happened, or who has any information relating to those involved, to please contact us.

“I also understand there was likely to have been traffic in the area around the time of this incident and I would urge any motorists who were driving in the vicinity to please check their dashcam footage for anything that might assist our investigation.”
