A woman's been punched in the face during an incident in Bournemouth, with a group of men thought to be involved.

Police were called to a disturbance in Windham Road at around 11.20pm on Friday 12th December.

The details have just been released as officers have taken details from the victim and continue their investigations.

PC David Carmichael, of Dorset Police, said: “We have now received a full account from the victim and I am carrying out enquiries into this incident.

“There may have been other people in the area at the time and I would ask anyone who saw what happened and has not already spoken to police to please get in touch.”
