Woman seriously injured in Bournemouth collision
Police seek witnesses and dashcam footage after motorcycle rider fled the scene

A woman in her 60s has been seriously injured following a collision involving a motorcycle on Charminster Road in Bournemouth.
The incident occurred at around 8.05pm on Sunday, 25th January 2026, outside Tesco Express. Dorset Police have confirmed that the collision involved a pedestrian, a black Honda NSC 110 scooter, and a stationary BMW.
The rider of the scooter reportedly fled the scene before police arrived. Officers have since arrested a 16-year-old boy from Poole on suspicion of driving offences.
He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to please come forward," Police Sergeant Paul Hind, of the Roads Policing Team, said.
"Also, I am keen to speak with any motorists who were travelling along Charminster Road and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage."
