Witness appeal following burglary in Gillingham
Power tools were stolen from a garage
A selection of power tools have been stolen from a garage in Gillingham, as officers appeal for witnesses to come forward.
The burglary is believed to have taken place sometime between Sunday 1st May and Sunday 8th May 2022 at an address off Le Neubourg Way.
The victim reported that he witnessed a man behaving suspiciously on his driveway on the morning of Sunday 8 May 2022.
He is described as a white man, around five feet 10 inches tall and of slight build with short ginger hair. He was clean shaven and wearing a pair of round glasses and a white hooded top.
The man was seen leaving the address and riding away on a bicycle in the direction of Cemetery Road.
Police Constable Geriant Craig, of Gillingham police, said:
“An investigation is underway into this incident and we have been carrying out a number of enquiries to identify who was responsible. I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity, or a man matching the description given, around the relevant timeframe to please get in touch.”
