Witnesses have been urged to come forward by officers following a burglary in Wimborne as they issue images of stolen bicycles.

At around 9.50pm on Saturday 18 June access to a garage on Leigh Road was gained and bikes and accessories valued at approximately £10,000 were taken.

A vehicle outside the garage was also broken into and some keys and Apple Airpods were stolen.

Police Community Support Investigator Steve Willis, of Dorset Police, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone travelling down Leigh Road between 9.45pm and 10pm on Saturday 18 June who has dashcam footage of a White Ford Transit Van.

“Finally, as part of my enquiries I am issuing images of the stolen bikes and would ask anyone who has seen them for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please come forward.”
