Police search for fail to stop driver after Weymouth Relief Road crash
Part of the road was closed during the early hours of this morning
Police are investigating a fail-to-stop accident that happened on Weymouth Relief Road last night. (15 June)
A single vehicle was involved in the crash.
Police are trying to find the driver and any passengers who were in the car to make sure they received medical treatment.
The road was shut between Monkton and the Jurassic roundabout and was reopened around 1.45am this morning.
A spokesman for Weymouth & Portland Police said:
"Investigations are underway to locate the driver of the vehicle and any passengers to ascertain the circumstances of the collision and ensure they receive the appropriate medical attention."
