Weymouth phone accessory and vape shop burgled

Phone Spot in St Mary Street has been broken into

A cash till and a quantity of vapes have been stolen in a burglary at a Weymouth shop.

Entry was forced to Phone Spot in St Mary Street, just after 5.30am on Friday 18th August.

A glass cabinet was also broken during the incident.

Dorset Police have given us a description of a suspect:

  • White man
  • Aged between 25 and 35 years old
  • Around five feet ten inches tall
  • Slim build
  • Goatee or light beard
  • Wearing a Puffa-style jacket
  • Scarf or shawl around his neck
  • Baggy tracksuit bottoms
  • Trainers with a dark coloured toe section

PC Charlie Andrews, of Weymouth police, said:

“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to please get in touch.

“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone with information about the person responsible or who recognises the man from the description given.”
