Weymouth's park and ride service has come to an end for another year.

The service, operated by Transpora, estimate they had 300 passengers using the buses each day during the summer.

It's been operating between Weymouth Gateway and the seafront each day.

The service is also registered to return in 2024.

The summer park and ride service in Weymouth will be back next year

Simon Newport, Head of Commercial for Transpora said:

"We would like to thank everyone that has used the service this summer. Whilst the weather has not been great at times we have carried people everyday which has been fantastic."

The operator say they'll 'continue to work in partnership with Weymouth Town Council and other stakeholders, in order to provide the best possible transport solution for Weymouth and the local community'.
