Weymouth's noisiest postcodes have been unveiled with new stats showing the extent of noise complaints across the town.

A Freedom of Information Request to Dorset Council by Greatest Hits Radio Dorset shows 273 complaints were made in 2021 alone - 1,139 have been made since 2017.

The data also shows which postcodes have clocked up the most angry letters to Dorset Council.

Since 2017 the most complaints have been received about postcodes along Weymouth Harbour, with one part of St Thomas Street clocking up 17 complaints. But some areas in Broadwey and Littlemoor had high levels of complaints.

Red areas feature the most noise complaints, yellow show the least.

Most people were upset about people or loud music. Over 5 years, 343 complaints were made about music and 204 about people. Barking dogs came in third and loud machinery also caused a headache.

Here's the list in full:

1) Music 343

2) People 204
