Weymouth man arrested following stabbing in Cornwall
The incident happened in Bude early yesterday morning (18th July)
A 39 year old man from Weymouth has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Cornwall.
A woman in her 40s suffered suspected knife wounds at a property in Bude just after 1.00am yesterday morning (Tuesday 18th July).
The victim remains in hospital with serious injuries to her chest and neck, and is in a stable condition.
The man arrested, who's from Dorset, has been questioned on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He's been bailed until October 19th.
Devon and Cornwall Police say their enquiries are ongoing.
