Weymouth Town Council are asking people who attended the second lower noise display on Monday 23rd of August to fill out a survey.

It is to monitor feedback on the new style displays and will help the Town Council shape decisions on future ones.

As part of the town’s summer season of fireworks, Weymouth Town Council have trialled two lower noise displays. The first of these displays took place on Monday 16th August, with the second display taking place on Monday 23rd August.

You can fill out the survey here.

When is Weymouth's last firework display of the summer?

The firework season in Weymouth started on August 2nd.

The final display of the season, taking place on Monday 30th August and will start at 9.30pm.

The Town Council would like to encourage attendees to, where possible, leave their cars at home to help avoid congestion.

Each fireworks evening, visitors can take in the wonderful atmosphere in the town and enjoy the many restaurants, bars, and entertainment facilities on Weymouth Seafront.

Cllr Colin Huckle, Mayor of Weymouth Town Council, said:

“The fireworks in Weymouth are always extremely popular equally with our local and visitor communities, always creating a unique family friendly fun atmosphere on Weymouth Seafront throughout the evening.”

The summer firework displays are provided by Pains Fireworks and Sirotechnics with additional operational support from Masterplan Offshore, Dorset Council, Weymouth Harbour Office, and Weymouth Town Council’s Beach Office.

The Town Council would like to thank The Boat Café, The Helter Skelter Fun Park on the beach, Edward Danter Fun Fair, Alexandra Gardens Pleasure Grounds, Bacaro Italian Restaurant, and Harvey’s Bar & Kitchen for supporting the fireworks.
